surprisingly cool
I knew Rob Bryden was the voice of Gaspode but I didn't know he voiced Lewton
but it's been an age since I last played but for some reason,
I have the voice clip tattooed into my brain "The wharf"
whenever I think of it

The wharf? Gaspode's scenes were confined to the cemetery at Small Gods, not the Wharf. (The wharf was where you'd find Captain Jenkin's ship, the Milka, and a very unhelpful First Mate). ;)

Incidentally, speaking of the Milka - you eventually run into an even more spectacularly unhelpful watchman at Pier 5. When you question him ...

LEWTON: Heard of the Milka?

WATCHMAN: Sure. Put it in my coffee-a.

LEWTON: (sarcastically) Ha ha ha. It's a ship.

WATCHMAN: Yeah, I know. Just winding you up.

LEWTON: Well, I'm as wound up as I'm going to get. Unless you plan to use me as an alarm clock, you might think about being more helpful.

WATCHMAN: Where's the fun in that, eh?

(Oh, and it goes on ... that watchman is comedy gold). :)

yes but at one point I was stuck and couldn't find a random item/plot point and was stuck going back and forth between areas looking for that one random pixel so I could progress so "The wharf" map quote is forever stuck in my head

*L* I love the fake West Midlands accent. Good deconstruction of it, too. I also like Scoplett's discussion of philosophy (just after 5:00). :)

Just wondering, by the way: is Scoplett's accent a West Midlands one?

(And - aww ... it cut off right before Samael's brilliant "Casablanca" song). ;)
