Cruising the net I saw two different images posted from the Dunmanifestin edition of Guards! Guards!
They were both by Paul Kidby and both showed Sybil.
I am mildly furious. I'm very glad I didn't shell out for that.
Kidby is now drawing Sybil average sized.
No way! Sybil is a sturdy mountain of a woman; even in a formal Gainsborough-style corset she would not be merely straight up and down.
Even her face and neck look the same proportions as Sam Vimes's (both are in the same picture), and Sam is skinny! They even have the same jawline, for crying out loud. They both have the same "Kidby standard" nose, too.

I mean, I know everyone has a right to their own head-canons. But pTerry was quite clear in his descriptions of Sybil.

Sorry, Rath, I disagree with you. Those first two you linked were the ones I had seen but the one you seem to think is good is the one I disliked more, though neither one matches my head-canon based on the text. And the third one, the fan art, has the same problem.
Mixa's two linked fan artworks are much closer to my head-canon of Sybil.

I was assuming you meant the graphic Novel of G!G!

The Sybil in there is more of how I see her. I'll have to try and scan my edition, as I can't find anything online about her.
