Michael Gough is dead. I have just read about it on the Doctor Who News site.

Who is he? To Doctor Who fans, he is the Celestial Toymaker, and Councillor Hedin from Arc of Infinity. He was also once married to former Doctor Who companion Anneke 'Polly' Wills.

To Batman fans, he was one of the few constants in the Burton/Schumacher films, playing Alfred Pennyworth. He also collaborated with Tim Burton on later projects from Sleepy Hollow all the way up to Alice in Wonderland.

And of course, he appeared in many a Hammer Horror film.

RIP, Michael Gough...

Note, he is not to be confused with the American voice actor of the same name.

Smiley Culture the reggae artist died two days ago.

Apparently his house was raided by the police and he "killed" himself.
