Tried Simon R. Green's new ghost hunter series, and struggled to get through it. He just doesn't do subtle, does he? o_O I'm expecting that when I pick up a Nightside or Secret Histories book, but was hoping for something different with this one. Not only is it not subtle, it's just ridiculously over the top.
