See, that's how I felt about The Colour of Magic. If that had been my first DW book I doubt I ever would have gone on to read the others. I think Knees Up Mother Earth was my first Rankin, and though it's later in that series, it got me hooked on him.

I started with Light Fantastic when that first came out in paperback and of course then had to get Colour of Magic to wok out what was going on :D It's been ongoing ever since and I'm perfectly normal :roll: :roll:

Some fans were extras in that movie. I'm not sure if our Admin, Jason was in that one - he was in the Colour of Magic. Some of the folks on the Cunning Artificer's forum were there though and I don't know if anyone got their mitts on the bonds. :)

It's a matter of opinion. I don't think it's worth that much, but clearly someone thinks it is. There won't be any more, so it is genuinely rare. I think the money would be better spent getting hardcover copies of the books so they can be read over and over without falling apart.
