Cloud Atlas book and movie thread

Basically this thread is for people to talk about the book and movie 'Cloud Atlas'.

So far I'm up to the part with Somni 451. Really enjoying it, which is weird for me because I don't usually like short stories (even if they are all connected). Planning to watch the movie after I finish the book.
