Yes, so do we. He felt like a member of our family if that’s not a presumptuous thing to say, and when l read Rob’s Memoir the feeling only got stronger. I am gutted that l never got to go to any of the conventions while he was still here.
We always remember the anniversary because our second grandchild arrived the day before. Joy followed by misery.

I was lucky enough to meet him a few times, but take solace in that his books can be reread over and over and something new can be discovered each time.
