Hard Talking Terry

I was working late last night and got a very quick 5 minute break during the early hours of the morning (04:40) and was surprised to see Sir Terry being interviewed on BBC's Hard Talk program. I don't know if anyone else has seen it, or if it has been mentioned elsewhere, but it is being repeated tonight at 23:30 (BST) on the BBC News 24 channel. I haven't had a chance to see it all myself but the bit I did see, Sir Terry looked (and sounded) on great form.

Just watched it on iPlayer - wow that got pretty intense! Couldn't tell whether the dude was really opposed to Sir Terry or just a very good debater.

Just seen the full interview myself and thought Sir Terry handled it very well. From the other Hardtalk programs that I've seen, I think Stephen Sackur is a pretty tough interviewer but without the 'in your face' aggressiveness of Jeremy Paxman.

That was great. Terry really held his own - the poor interviewer barely got a word in, which must be a first on HardTalk!
