I opened a box of books and found my copies of the dragon trilogy by S. Andrew Swann. Yay!
1. Dragon Princess (2014)
2. Dragon Thief (2015)
3. Dragon Wizard (2016)
The first book is very silly but fun. The second book develops some serious notes, and the third book has a blend of silliness and seriousness that reminds me a bit of Pratchett.
Recommended.
Swann is one of the author's pseudonyms. He is prolific and I think he might use different names to keep different styles apart. I haven't come across his other books.
