Terry Pratchett supports euthanasia, because he believes that it is crucial to suffer from an incurable disease and do not get the right to medical help to end their lives.
Therefore, Sir Terry Pratchett has called for euthanasia tribunals to give people the right to end their lives.
Pratchett insists for legalising assisted death. “I believe that if the burden gets too great, those who wish should be allowed to be shown the door,” he said.
"I know enough to realise there will not be a cure within my lifetime and I know the later stages of the disease can be very unpleasant."
"I don't think people are particularly bothered about death, it's the life before death that worries us," he said in a recent BBC television interview.
His definition of the “perfect death” is: “I intend, before the endgame looms, to die sitting in a chair in my own garden with a glass of brandy in my hand and Choral music on the iPod,"
