I have the DVD, but I don't recall seeing all that at the start (about turning a nag into a horse, bonds into coins, coins into bonds, and so on).

Is there a fuller version of "Going Postal"? I know some films have a "deleted scenes" section, where they put all the scenes that didn't make it into the final film. *shrug* Is that what this means?

(Also, I suspect Tony is right!)

It was I think in a backflash in the film, later on when he was shown the effects of his swindling had on the people duped.
