Found out that The Mortal Instruments is getting its own TV show! I'm so excited! When the first episode premieres I'll be sure to update this thread with my thoughts.

So, what do you think of this news?

I've seen the film so nope won't be watching that
"A film where incest isn't a problem as long as you don't believe you're related"
http://www.ropeofsilicon.com/mortal-ins ... view-2013/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1538403/reviews
maybe I'm bias because I've only seen the film and not read the books but
I started watching True blood without reading the books and
I enjoyed it so much that I was motivated towards reading the
Sooki Stackhouse books and that is a good thing

but the only results from watching The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones
I had was to never touch anything to do with the franchise ever again

Trust me, the books are way better than the movie. As for True Blood, well...I love that show (save for the final season)! So far I've only read Dead to the World and I got one hundred pages into Dead as a Doornail. Hmm...maybe I should pick it back up. Orson Scott Card's Enchantment isn't doing much for me.

Anyway, if you don't like the incest in Mortal Instruments Cassandra Clare's other series, The Infernal Devices, doesn't have that.
