Short story, I met a British woman at a bookstore recently and we got talking about great books we had recently. She said that there was one British bestseller I had to read--a novel about terrorism. Stupidly, I thought I'd remember the title, and I totally didn't. I thought it might have had "Iron" in the title, but it may not have. Since I have no idea what books are popular Across the Pond, might anyone know the book I'm talking about? She seemed to indicate it was published this year and was the book that everyone over there was reading. Any insights would be most appreciate.d

Not this year, but people are often confused between the year a book as published and the year they read it.

Iron House, by John Hart (2011)

The present-time plot—hit man Michael trying to carve a new life without endangering those he loves—makes a superb thriller on its own, but it’s what Hart does with the backstory that gives the novel its beyond-genre depth.
