There was a LOT of names I didn't recognice in that article :oops:

I can understand their frustration, must be a let down to be ignored by the BBC like that, especially as the books they write are sold in large numbers and enjoyed by the public.

Oh dear gods, don't tell me britain is actually starting to treat fantasy as -worthless genre-
We had that bit here a while ago when the current german publisher of the Discworld novels declared 'Pratchett isn't fantasy, it's social-critical satire and should be treated as such- (Translate that to -we are trying to save money so we say it#s not fantasy which enables us to do the translations with an online translator and the new covers via free clipart in a free graphic prog-)
