That is interesting as Unseen is not one of the strongest of Terry's books (only my opinion , others will disagree I am sure) but it is good to see Him getting more lime light, I got cheesed off with seeing J. K. Rowling face every where and Hairy Snotter Covers .... 8)

I'm another one firmly in the UU lovin' camp. :laugh: I have to say though, just being nominated for a Nebula when the field is that strong is massively high praise. China Miéville, Cat Valente and Dan Simmons' books were all mind bendingly good. I can't speak for the Vandermeer since I haven't read it yet, but if it's as good as the others this has been a vintage 18 months for SF&F and no mistake, considering how good some of the novels which failed to make the shortlist were.
