Just noticed Penfold meant filmsoundtrack too... well, I really couldn't chose one. I probably like everything. Hans Zimmer is my fav compositor, but I like the music from Pride and Prejudice, Requiem for a Dream, LotR, Love Actually, etc, etc... I love movie soundtracks! Sometimes even more than the movie itself... ;)

Moving back to telly...

Mighty Boosh: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24ejG_4MI5A

The Wire (S1 version): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1ABR4UpDSU

Snuff Box (all versions!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDkX2-eiPIM My fave is the rude park version at 3:08.

Was lucky enough to see the brilliant Matt Berry do a live version earlier in the year, accompanied by Mark Morriss of The Bluetones.

Mr Berry specializes in funked up versions of sitcom themes:

Sorry again, followed by Are You Being Served: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipoVdL2g6PY

Some more movie themes I like ;)

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly!

Terminator 2

And just because I like the movie so much
The outlaw Josey Wales
LOVE Morricone!! We played a piece called "Moment to Morricone" with the orchestra I'm in, and it was soooo good, you just couldn't help it, you had to move along with the music and smile all the time (which was a bit difficult for those who played a wind instrument... ;) )
