Hi guys am new to the forum but a long time Pratchett fan. I am currently re reading Equal Rites..going through the old ones!

My Question (sorry if its been asked before). Esk what happens to her? She ends up staying at UU but as far as I know never apears in other novels?

Its also nice recognising the difference and how Granny Weatherwax develops in his late books but what happened to Esk?

Hi Rubicon2012, welcome to the site! :laugh:

As far as Esk is concerned - we don't know as Terry has never expanded on her story.

However, from what I've heard, Terry is planning to include Esk in his next book - I Shall Wear Midnight. :)

I think Dug's on about this nursery rhyme:

Simple Simon met a pieman going to the fair;
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Let me taste your ware"
Said the pieman to Simple Simon "Show me first your penny"
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Sir, I have not any!"

Simple Simon went a-fishing for to catch a whale;
All the water he had got was in his mother's pail.
Simple Simon went to look if plums grew on a thistle;
He pricked his fingers very much which made poor Simon whistle.
He went for water in a sieve but soon it all fell through;
And now poor Simple Simon bids you all "Adieu"
