Granny Weatherwax has a wooden box where she keeps important things.

According to wikipedia, the box contains:

  • a bundle of letters
a chunk of lodestone from "the dancers" stone circle
    a fossil ammonite
a phoenix feather in a glass bottle.

While I know the phoenix feather is from Carpe Jugulum, and a staff of parchments as well (presumably the letters), I do not recall a source for the fossil or the loadestone.

Can anyone tell me where to find these other items?

Cheers!

Off the top of my head the lodestone would most likely link to Lords and Ladies as that's the book that features the Dancers stone circle where the Elves come through to the Disc's dimension.

the fossil ammonite would most likely relate to The Chalk and Wee Free Men when Granny and Nanny go to help Tiffany out when she's just starting to learn witchcraft - Tiffany has that whole 'dream state' thing in Faerie Land about 'land under sea' and the ancient sea creatures before she and Roland escape with her little brother.

I don't have Lords & Ladies in front of me, but I always through the fossil was included with the bundle of letters, which I always assumed were the unanswered love letters the young Ridcully had written to young Esme Weatherwax after he left Lancre.
