G'day, Dave! :) Welcome back. Good to see you again.

The article works for me just fine, but I'm not sure what the author of the study has against The Last Continent, or what the narrowed vocabulary was ... unless he is referring to the words "mate" or "g'day", which we use all the time here in Fourecks. :)

There seems to be a certain amount of cognitive dissonance in the article, at least in my understanding. They have taken a well known Alzheimer's sufferer and then, apparently looked back to find some kind of cause for it. Clearly, it was only in looking back on Terry

While I find it an interesting stud that markers can be seen in advance through language, I don't think they are there just yet.

Using Terry's case in their publication (if I am being cynical) would probably make more lay people pay attention to the study. I guess we'll have to see if this study goes anywhere useful.

Additional - "cognitive dissonance" is NOT the phrase I was looking for. I can't remember what the correct term is, but it is basically where you draw a conclusion and then go looking for previous information that agrees with your narrative.
