I think perhaps Who Wee Dug posted about the International (UK) Discworld Convention here (which just announced its own dates - Aug 3-5 2024) and then edited/removed his post and posted that stuff elsewhere.

Hi all,

Well the convention is now over, and it was a lot of fun! We had 200 people come and live in Uberwald for several days, with a large list of events and activities.

We had calls with Rob Wilkins, Stephen Briggs, Colin Smythe, Ian Stewart, Marc Burrows (The Magic of Terry Pratchett), Jason and Rachel Anthony-Rowlands (Discworld Monthly/Better Than a Poke in the Eye/Llamedos Holiday Camp), and the teams behind the Good Omens musical and The Ineffable Con.

In person, we had guests Pat and Jan Harkin, Ben & Liz from the Pratchat Podcast, and authors Tansy Rayner Roberts and Karen J Carlisle.

There were some amazing costumes, props, and decorations, a wonderful gala dinner, and we raised over $8000 at the charity auction for Bat Rescue SA and Writers SA.
