I haven't watched the trailer but the synopsis you gave tells me I wont like it (probably because most american shows suck (except for sitcoms, I love me some himym ;) ))

Orphan Black is excellent. A little like Alias. Good female lead character and supporting actors add comic effect and sympathy. Fast paced if a tad far fetched at time (but hey thats never stopped Dr Who) stories. Again, the lead actress has a lot of charisma. I hope this lasts. BBC 3 don't tend to support things long.

She is surprisingly good isnt't she? The plot is sometimes verging on the ridiculous but she and the rest of the cast keep you enthralled as they all take it just seriously enough but also with the right amount of humour to keep things moving.
