I read the second Alchemist book by Gigi Pandian - it was
free - and her writing is marginally better but she's still
way too repetitive. She has seven now in the Accidental
Alchemist series and has been turning out one every year.
Each one has several recipes (not all vegan) and a murder
mystery. The alchemy is mainly the maguffin, but it does
link the stories. I think I've guessed the big secret anyway.
Oddly, I grumble but I keep reading.
