I will get it in the dealers room at the worldcon as I prefer the American artwork on his books,I know that's picky but the 1st in the series I bought had the American artwork and the 2nd one was the UK one not as good visually .

I read "Magician" recently (first time - I hadn't come across Feist before now)
Took a while as it's a long book, but I found it held my attention. I'm undecided whether to read any more, however.

Magician was the best of the for me still to read the later ones in my book case.

Personally, I enjoyed the series and spin off books.
