I've been reading Gordon Reid's blog, ganseys.com, for decades, enjoying his gentle wit and his knitting - ganseys only, several a year. He got the kind of leukemia where the white cells fail instead of the red ones, so you feel all right but have no protection against other diseases. Chemo was tried, but he died - yesterday, I believe.
