Amazon has a book called Seriously Funny: The Endlessly Quotable Terry Pratchett. It's not out yet (due out on April 21st), but the price is £9.99. it's not clear whether it is a successor to "The Wit and Wisdom" etc. ;)

The Official Discworld Colouring Book is due out on May 17th, and features drawings by Paul Kidby, which you may colour to you heart's content. It has no price yet.

The Long Cosmos, the fifth in "The Long..." series, is due out on June 30 and is listed at £18.99 (hardcover) or £9.99 (Kindle edition).

Finally, Small Gods: the Graphic Novel is due out on July 16. It is £12.99. More details as they come to hand.

Enjoy! :)

Sheesh. I didn't know the Aussie dollar was that weak against the GBP... the colouring book may be 9 pounds and 99 pence, but in Oz land, it is $25.65.

Drat it, Aussie dollar! Get stronger, dammit! *jumps up and down on the Aussie dollar*

Someways behind everyone else on current news as usual but I will absolutely buy the Small Gods graphic book. Maybe the colouring book though I don't colour in as a rule. Not the quote book. I couldn't get through the first Long Earth book and haven't bothered with the rest.

There is always the THE WITCH'S VACUUM CLEANER in August 25th SJen, coming 25th August this year,follow-up to Dragons at Crumbling Castle, taking fourteen more of Terry’s earliest stories from his days at the Bucks Free Press and bringing them to life with fresh new illustrations by Mark Beech.
A collector’s edition with extra content will be published at the same time.

More news - this time from the Discworld Monthly! ;) (Apologies if others here are subscribers, like me - if you are, this will not be new to you!)

Moving Pictures News (there is no news as to when these projects will be released)...

1. The Wee Free Men (screenplay by Rhianna Pratchett). There will be an announcement at the San Diego Comic Con this summer.
2. Mort (screenplay by Tony Rossio - Shrek, Pirates of the Caribbean and Disney's Aladdin)
3. Good Omens (screenplay by Neil Gaiman - confirmed as a six-part series). See Neil's blog at http://discworldmonthly.co.uk/uid/792
for how this came about and http://discworldmonthly.co.uk/uid/794 for the Guardian's report.
4. Charlie Russell is making a fourth documentary - this time about the life and death of Sir Terry Pratchett. It will contain some footage
from the memorial and also footage filmed in October 2014 where Rob Wilkins sat and interviewed/chatted with Terry for about 4.5
hours.

More news about upcoming books...

5. Small Gods the Graphic Novel is currently scheduled for a UK release on the 28th July this year, and for International Release on the 23rd August 2016. It will have 144 pages and be published by Doubleday.

7. Author Joanne Harris (via Twitter) has confirmed she has written a new introduction for Wyrd Sisters. We don't have a release date for
this yet - but we suspect it will be sometime in 2017.

It also looks like the new paperback editions of Mort and Guards! Guards! we mentioned last month will now be released in 2017 as
Amazon have put back the release dates listed on their website by a year.

8. The 18th May 2016 sees the launch of the French translation of The Shepherd's Crown. There will be a launch event in Paris at Librairie La dimension fantastique at 18.30. Not sure how many French folks we have here, but just in case... :)

There is an awesome launch pack for those who have pre-ordered a copy of the book via the store. It contains a bee bag, a bookmark, a sticker sheet, a bookplate and a bee badge.

Patrick Couton (the translator) will be in store doing a book signing.

For more information go to the Facebook event page at: https://www.facebook.com/events/568424949986384

...and that's all for now, folks! :)
