It has been a long time since I've read this, but I have been listening to the audible Isis version and found or had forgotten about all the pre Discworld to be mentions by Kin Arad, the Broken Drum was a pub they passed, they landed on a flat earth disc, under the rim waterfall, also mentioned was it rested on the backs of four elephants which stood on a large turtle which swam through space, I'm have way through wonder how many more I'll find again.
