I have just read this.

Apart from the fact he co-authored it with himself (which I love the idea of)

This book is amazing, I really loved it.

I marvel at the fact that a 17 year old had the imagination and ability to use a carpet to compare to a roman type of England.

It was a great read and so deep.

Maybe it is because I grew up in Australia and never studied History that I am so taken by it. History in schools in Australia never seemed to cover the roman occupation of the UK for some strange reason.

Well it could have been shag pile

I got to read the version that he co-authored with himself.

And do I love that idea.

I think the sheer fact he had the idea at 17 when I was still a vacuous dolt interested in getting into a pub (whether I drank or not ) and catching the attention of the cute bloke in the same class as me.

Okay not much has changed but that I can now legally enter a pub.

When it was first published I was not even that vacuous dolt. And there is little chance that a copy of it would of made it to a small isolated mining town in the Norhtern tip of Australia.

Heck our news was three days late!

Diving.
