Pity, I liked the first of his Sword of Truth books, but they got pretty bad near the end. Looks like I won't be reading any of his newer works based on the reviews.

No, TV critic has to be the best job ever. Restaurant critics have to go out and eat bad food a lot of the time. TV critics can just sit back on their sofas, watch bad TV and get paid to make fun of it. And since they can't possibly see everything, they get to choose the shows they want to watch, and ignore the ones (like anything with New Jersey or Kardashians) that could fry your eyeballs.

Na-ah. Restaurants critics have to eat bad food as well as good.

Best gig is a TV critic. Getting paid to watch and comment on TV shows before others see 'em. If you don't like 'em, just shut off the DVD. Never have to leave your house. A slacker's dream!
