Just realised that this forum is called TV, film, theatre.

What theatre have people seen?

My bio:

I was in Pirates of Penzance when I was 11 at school, playing a cowardly policemen. Also got taken to a lot of Gilbert and Sullivan by my parents when me and my brother were young.

Then there is a very long gap and the last things thatI saw were Jude Law as Doctor Faustus in 2002, then a university adaptation of The Princess Bride in 2004.

Nada since then.

Any takers?

I haven't been to the theatre in years. Last time I went was to see Maskerade - I mean Phantom of the Opera with my Dutch friend when she was visiting.

The time before that was (I think) Sondheim's 'A Little Night Music' - I got in free to that one as they were trying to fill the theatre.

I've seen one production of a Discworld play - Wyrd Sisters. It was quite well done and the woman playing Nanny Ogg was particularly good and had a Welsh Valleys accent.

Went to see Wicked a year and a half ago.
Saw the Woman in Black over Christmas.
Saw Wyrd Sisters late last year.
Went Les Mis last summer.

I do go the odd time to University productions, expecially shakespeare.
My fave play though has to be The Plough and The Stars , by Sean O' Casey.

I once heard of a theatre performance of The Diary of Anne Frank that was so bad, that when the Germans broke into the house, someone from the audience shouted "She's in the attic!"
