I've almost finished Xxxholic and have the movie left to watch
I started a new anime Usagi Drop and it completely different from what I expected
sadly it's only 11episode and 4 specials long and I've devoured 3 episodes in a row.
The artwork is simplistic and surprisingly complicated, the story although a little slow is charming and well paced and the voice acting is damn near perfect

He's a Chicago cop who was shot by his boss for sleeping with the boss's wife (which he didn't - he was the only one in the department that didn't sleep with her!), and he got a huge compensation deal, and moved to Florida (Miami, I think).
Now he solves murders there, when not on the golf course.
There is, naturally, a love interest.
Most of the stories have a decent twist, but I'm just not feeling the love.

Tsubasa is a great series, but I think how much you like will depend on how much you liked Cardcaptor Sakura. I loved CCS, so the idea of a series using Adult versions of CCS' main characters as part of a massive crossover with characters and locations from a dozen other shows was very appealing to me.
Plus I love CLAMP in general so, yeah.

I was busy with movies the last couple of days
On Thursday we had an "Ancsa-day" (Ancsa's a friend of mine), so we watched some of her fav films, which were: Dangerous Minds, Three Steps Above Heaven and Just Go With It (I survived it all! )
Then yesterday we watched Ben-Hur with our chocolate-club, which turned out to be a comedy, who'd have expected (but then again, every movie we watch together goes with a lot lof laughter, so no surprise there). But what a long movie! Pff... Good one, though.
And for today, we had a Harry Potter marathon planned, but unfortunately my friend wasn't feeling very well, and we only got to the first 3 movies... to be continued on Thursday!
And now back to studying
