I liked the part where Polly's regiment was accused of being male, but Shufti lifted her skirt and it was totally awkward!!
But would she be wearing underpants under her skirt? You can't just lift it up to see stuff...

That is a good point......... I always wanted to know how the Girls managed without all the stuff women would appear to be unable to survive without in the ruff..... if we have a day out anywhere in the UK my misses has to carry around what looks like a duffel bag of junk...She calls it her big hand bag! .... a spare for everything.

But... some Girls do go commando!

Specially if they a wearing a very tight figure hugging dress, shows a Knicker line if they do...

Urgh...commando. Underpants are for hygiene, and I can't imagine what it's like to be without them.
Actually, I think I can.

I suppose it's sort of like wearing a beanie or a scarf for a whole day, then taking it off before bed.
You feel all cold and you're wondering why, until you realize that it's because you took off your snuggly wooly winter wear.
