Any opinions on BBCs radio adaptations of the Discworld novels?

I've heard six of the radio plays, and they are thoroughly enjoyable! Jolly good fun for sure! Just finished Guards! Guards!, and it worked really well as a radio play (except some of the music - quite crappy).

I've loved them all and thought they were most enjoyable. My big gripe though is with the BBC. Why the HELL don't they sell these as tapes or CDs? It doesn't make sense that they don't. But then again it didn't make sense that they dumped all those old episodes of Dr Who and Dad's Army.

True, you can get almost everything BBC's ever done in the stores nowadays, so why not these...

I visited BCC's store in Brighton last year, and there was no end to what you could find there.

Not being a fan of audio books in general I was surprised that I enjoyed the radio plays so much. You can easily find them to download...so I did but that's internet piracy and some may be offended
