Feegled from Twitter. Drumroll...…………..
Discworld Convention 2020

Is this thing on? Good. We are delighted to announce that the 2020 International Discworld Convention will take place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on the 7th - 11th August 2020. More details and membership will be Coming Soon!

Small Correction. The official end date of the Convention is Monday 10th August. This Comms monkey just wants the weekend to last even longer!

I'm sorry, but being an Ecksian, I can't justify the costs (flights, hotel etc.) for just one weekend at Birmingham. :(

Back to a hotel that will fit everybody in plus there are other hotels within walking distance, happy days eyes will be peeled for further news of it going live as no doubt it will sell out in a short space of time.

Then again, did you attend the Australian Discworld Convention, which was recently in Melbourne? (Next one is Sydney, July 2021 if that's more convenient).

Sorry, Molokov. I couldn't get the time off work to go to the Melbourne one. :(

Maybe I could get the time off for the Sydney one ... we'll see what happens next year.

Penners even the waiting list had problems so I left the page then noticed later on twitter that it was fixed so I'm probably not that high on the list, not really that much bothered now.
