Title: An evening with Professor Sir Terry Pratchett
Date: November 16, 2011 6:00 PM
Location: Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, Pearse St, Dublin 2
Description:
Sir Terry Pratchett is an internationally-renowned bestselling writer, fantasist and satirist. In recent years, he has become one of the most important English public intellectuals, particularly in his role as an advocate for research into Alzheimer’s disease, and of the assisted dying movement, on which subject he gave the annual BBC Richard Dimbleby Lecture last year. Since 2010, Sir Terry has been Adjunct Professor of Creative Writing and Popular Literature in the School of English. The School is honoured to have such a distinguished member of staff.

I sent an official complaint to the UNI IT. we'll see how it goes. As i'm only an occasional lecturer i don't have much pull in terms of giving out but i'll make a little noise.
