Sorry Jan, at the time of posting I thought we'd be getting hotel room info up very soon, but then webmaster went on holiday, then we decided rather than just basic details we'd try and find out a few more things, then our hotel contact was out of the office for a bit, and then we all had to prep for DWCon... so the long and short of it is... we're keen to tell everyone, but need to make sure everything's all present and accounted for with regards to hotel details, and ensure the webmaster still has his sanity :) I'll make sure the link to the hotel info will go up here as soon as it's live on the website (as well as on the Emporium forums, book of face and twitter).

Hotel bookings for the Watch Open Weekend have just been made available, the Times can exclusively reveal. In an interview with our correspondent, Watch spokesperson Captain Shivers acknowledged that it is now exactly one year to go until this historic Watch outreach programme. She had this to say on the subject:
"In light of reaching this important milestone, we have published details of how to book a room at our venue, the Cork International Airport Hotel, not only for the enthusiastic recruits that have already signed up, but also any potential others who may be interested in this excellent opportunity to serve alongside our great
City's finest."
Capt. Shivers strongly denied any rumours that the hotel had been booked up by the Sunshine Sanctuary's annual fundraiser, and confirmed that the Watch Open Day would go ahead on the 2nd-5th of October next year. More reports to follow as the story unfolds.

Yes the illustrious Mr Wilkins can't commit to coming this early, obviously Terry takes priority and they have many exciting plans and pseudo plans for next year, but we do hope to twist his arm closer to the time. But even without Terry physically being there we've had a lot of fun the last two conventions, and interesting video/Skype/pre recorded interviews with The Creator and Rob.
