I've also signed it - although I do think that it's all very well petitioning the council to erect a statue, but supplying them with the money to do so, would be a lot more useful for them.

I'm sure at some point, if money is an issue, then some kind of donation site will be set up so I have no worries about the statue getting built eventually. I wonder what pose they will show Terry in.

I'm not so much concerned about the pose they'll put Terry in, as I am about what menacingly meddling miscreants will do to the statue once it's up.

In saying "menacingly meddling miscreants" (awesomely acclaimed alliteration, ook? ), I am thinking of what the students of UU did to the statue of Alberto Malich in Mort.

Do we really want to see a statue of pTerry with a potty on its head? I think not...
