I am not a native Engilsh speaker and I need help with translation. Could anybody tell me what does PIT mean, like when Angua is mad at Sally complaining: "...when do I ever
rip out a throat? I hunt chickens! And I pay for them in advance. Does she
suffer from PIT? I don't think so!"
PIT is mentioned once again in Thud: "Part of her was shouting that
this wasn't so, that this was just PIT and the known effects of a vampire's
presence"

Hi Curious and welcome to the forum.

It's actually PLT and I assume it stands for Pre-Lunar Tension. She's a werewolf and her 'time of the month' is just before the full moon as opposed to human women who suffer from PMT.

I hope that helps to explain it.
