Last night while I was on here I had the TV playing in the background... as you do... I KNEW I had to go to bed (work today) and "The Shining" came on. I KNEW I had to go to bed.. and I KNEW I shouldn't watch The Shining... but I did. See I love the style of the hotel. But got dragged in by the movie Got to bed at 5.30 am. Damn you Jack Nicholson.

On a cheerier note, me and the little one just finished watching "Elf" on TV. Loved it.

Not a huge Shining fan, there a only a few Kubrick films I like, just find him too cold really.

Not a huge Shining fan, there a only a few Kubrick films I like, just find him too cold really.

I dont't like Kubrick at all Dave. 80 takes for ONE scene? Thats ridiculous! Either the man doesn't know his job as a director or its pure self-indulgence! Loses all the emotion. Not a fan at all!

We just watched "No reservations", with CZ Jones and Aaron Eckhart. It was quite good!

Oh, and we rented "The Karate Kid" last night. Gosh, it was reeeally good! Much better than I expected, given that I was a big fan of the original.

I watched "Sky High" yesterday. I haven't watched it since it was in theatres 5 years ago, and I missed lots of the jokes.
In sidekick class, they learn to fill in the blanks for "Holy ___, ___man!"
