Unseen Academicals would have made sense during The World Cup!

May have been more interesting than some (or most) of the games!!

Would make more sense to do Making Money as it is a follow on from Going Postal which I enjoyed hugely.

But since when has logic had anything to do with the Disc World series of books.............

I recall TP saying the next film would be "Sourcery or...." then joking about and saying a load of other book names, maybe the last was UA.

It was never announced officially by TP himself.
