These sort of discussions often cause disbelief. I once thought someone was joking when they suggested Will Smith to play Nobby Nobbs. This was on another site. It turned out they were dead serious and they got annoyed with me for thinking their idea was stupid.

I could play Vimes. Failing that, what about Jack Dee?

Toby Stephens would be GREAT. He is so oooh, and I quite like Vimes as I may have put in another thread somewhere, but I don't care.. You need someone witha bit rugged been up all night look to them.

He would do. He's less handsome, which is probably more appropriate... but Toby looks a bit like Clint Eastwood, which reminds me of the Paul Kidby illustrations.

Sean Pertwee rocked in Dog Soldiers though, which goes a long way in my book.
