I don't understand. Gaiman was accused of sexual crimes. He denies the allegations. Meanwhile, his business partners (e.g. Disney) are punishing him by ending the contracts, even though these allegations were never tested in court and no guilt has been established.
Whatever happened to the principle of "innocent until proven guilty?" I am confused!
He actually admitted to some of them, Rath, although he claims what he did was consensual. However, I still consider using your position to take advantage of, or pressure, a vulnerable person is still a form of abuse. The stuff he admitted to was pretty unsavoury as well. Quite sad really.
Hmm. I just thought of a compromise: the big networks are afraid of touching Gaiman's stuff. Is it possible to air the final season(s) of G.O. without mentioning his name (e.g. removing it from the credits)?
I'm reluctant to even mention this, because I enjoyed his work very much. But if that's what it takes ...
