It's been good so far. I wasn't sure about it from the movie trailer, but judging books by their films is never a good idea...

Me too! MP was good the first time I read it. It was fun looking for the movie references - and we also have the first appearances of Ridcully and Gaspode - but there's not too much depth to it. It's a shame Terry didn't do more with the 'celebrity' thing.

I have read all the books I have. I am thinking of re-reading my 1920s book on the Viking Gods. Bit dated but lovely b/w plates.

Actually i find the better Mythology books are those from around the late 19th and early 20th century.
