Many Meetings

Anilori, chere amie! Comment va-s tu? Une estrelle benevolente illumine notre reconnaissance.....

And Facebook... I keep a presence there to check in occassionally with old workmates and Americans I know, including a wickedly clever cartoonist called Jen Babcock who does the sort of webcomic (about Los Angeles, seen through the jaundiced eyes of a would-be Satre from Paris called Mona).
il faut que tu l'aimerais, Anilori...

FB can be boring and populated by people with not much to say and a compulsion to spend all day saying it, so I checked for the presence of intelligent life by looking for a Terry Pratchett outpost, and found it. Which led me here...[/url]

so many welcomes...

Is a Shadow Ninja Cat the secret identity of a Meerkat? (it ducks down its hole and a few minutes later, emergess from a secret hole as a meerkat superhero...)

hi Tonyblack. The line about having been kicked off BBC boards is there in the interests of open up-frontness about having previous form, and is there to alert moderators... although on the L-Space wiki I am poacher-turned-gamekeeper and have moderation rights, as well as a licence to hit any Roundworld trolls I encounter in the soft spot on the back of the neck. (There is a special hooked weapon for this sort of thing, but as an Assassin you would know.) Discworld trolls have a special immunity on the wiki and are welcome, although a QWERTY keyboard designed for trolls is eight feet wide and has very big keys. Troll hands are not designed for texting, although Chrysophrase is believed to employ a literate gnome for this purpose.

I don't quite know what this is, certainly not French, but it's very pretty :p

Welcome here, considering how people here go off-topic at the drop of a hat, I think you'll fit right in! (I don't post a lot, mostly in the fanart thread when I have committed a drawing I'm satisfied with. I'm a show-off, what can you say  )

Thank you for the comic, I'll have a look :)

Une petite lecon de Franglais...

going for Franglais, my dear, the sort of extremely mangled French spoken by the British when they feel they should make an effort... trying for the essence of Magrat's well-meant inanity about "a fortunate star shines on the hour of our meeting"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franglais

I do have a better understanding of la belle langue du Quirm, honettement...
