I've heard that is one of the few titles were the movie outdoes the book. I haven't read the book, but I've seen the films and can actually believe it might be true.
How are you finding it, Mole? I might get round to it myself at some point.

Got that one for Christmas nearly two years ago, and have been trying to finish it since. It's dull and depressing.

I'm now reading Return of the King. As I think I've stated on this thread previously, I was deternined to get around to reading the books sometime this year. :)

Loved them! I get the feeling that there are more song references in the book, but without some extensive googling I won't spot them all.

I finished Return of the King last night and enjoyed it. :)

Now I've started on Bernard Corwell's new book - Azincourt. I had to make myself stop reading it so I could post this and I've got other things to do this morning.

Great so far and very much a 'Cornwell' book. :laugh:
